[Users] Help needed

Hi I am running on Qgis 3.4 and have now got started on QField on my
tablet. I have successfully moved data over to QField and can open it.
However I am not able to find the "mode" option in the list I need to be
able to delete and add points whilst out in the field. I have set up a
vector layer from Qgis onto QField for this purpose.
Please can someone help me and tell me what I am not doing
