After me doubting QField, and your suggestion that it’s something else I had a think. </p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I then realised that when I do my file management to delete all the pictures I get sent on WhatsApp and which annoy me as they get stored in my gallery, I was also deleting the .tiff files. The tiff files automatically get added to my gallery on the Samsung phone, but appear as blank images. For some reason, they get deleted from the Qfield project directory on the Samsung device after a few days. The files are originally there, and I can work with them for the first few days, but then disappear! If I don’t check before going out, I can arrive on site and get an “Unable to load some layers” message when I fire up Qfield.
