I have been experimenting with QField and I have used the $x and $y to automatically populate the Easting and Northings fields, but how do I use the GPS height to populate the Z field. There seems to be no $z function. Any thoughts?Cheers Grant------------------------------Message: 2Date: Sat, 26 Dec 2020 09:09:41 +0100From: Matthias Kuhn <matthias at opengis.ch>To: Grant Boxer <boxerg at iinet.net.au>Cc: users at lists.qfield.orgSubject: Re: [Users] How to add elevation fieldMessage-ID:	<CAC7zN94=0hwHCVm3C7tp1VyGeci1D7-q8zHjGTn6i9kbDvqcZQ at mail.gmail.com>Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"Hi GrantSeehttps://qfield.org/docs/prepare/attributes-form.html#additional-variablesIt's possible to extract this from @position_coordinate with the z function. It'd be great if you could add that example to the docs.BestsMatthiasOn Sat, Dec 26, 2020, 00:44 Grant Boxer <boxerg at iinet.net.au> wrote:> Hi All, and hope everyone had a good Christmas. This makes it almost opaque and difficult to use the fill ring tool (and split tool) if digitising over a feature shown on the base map below. Is there a solution to this problem?I've tried playing with the rubberband settings in QGIS but this doesn't seem to make a difference in QField. Many thanksPaul-------------- next part --------------An HTML attachment was scrubbed...URL: <http://lists.qfield.org/pipermail/users-qfield.org/attachments/20201226/d647126a/attachment-0001.html>------------------------------Subject: Digest Footer_______________________________________________Users mailing listUsers at lists.qfield.orghttp://lists.qfield.org/listinfo.cgi/users-qfield.org------------------------------End of Users Digest, Vol 33, Issue 3************************************
